Managed GCC
Network & Infrastructure
Networks rarely fail outright. They degrade quietly for eighteen months while everyone blames the applications.
Network problems are the hardest to attribute, which is why they persist. The call quality is poor, the file server feels slow, the warehouse scanners drop occasionally - and each gets investigated separately as an application issue.
Design, then maintain
We document the estate properly first: topology, addressing, VLAN structure, firewall rules and what each one is actually for. A surprising number of environments have rules nobody can explain and nobody dares remove.
Wireless that holds up
Designed against a survey rather than by placing access points where there happened to be a cable. Density, channel planning and roaming behaviour matter far more than the number of access points.
Connectivity and resilience
Circuit selection, failover that has been tested by actually pulling the primary link, and SD-WAN where multiple sites justify it. Failover that has never been exercised is an assumption.
Firewall hygiene
Rule sets reviewed on a schedule, with expired and shadowed rules removed and every remaining rule attributed to a business reason. This is unglamorous and it is where a real amount of risk quietly lives.
Sites and moves
New offices, warehouse fit-outs and site closures planned with lead times that reflect how long carriers actually take, rather than how long you would like them to take.
What is included
-
Documented topology
Addressing, VLANs and firewall rules mapped and attributed - including the ones nobody could explain.
-
Surveyed wireless
Designed against a real site survey, for density and roaming rather than access point count.
-
Tested failover
Resilience proven by pulling the primary link, not by reading the configuration.
-
Rule review
Scheduled firewall reviews that retire shadowed and expired rules instead of accumulating them.
Common questions
Before you ask
No. Most engagements start with either an assessment or a co-managed arrangement where we take tickets and after-hours while your team keeps everything else. Expanding from there is a decision you make with two quarters of evidence rather than a sales promise.
Per user per month for the recurring service, with servers and sites priced separately. Project work, migrations and hardware are quoted individually so the monthly fee never becomes the place surprise costs hide.
A dedicated offshore team working only for you, in an entity we set up and run to your standards. It is not a shared outsourcing pool - the people are yours, and if you want to own the entity eventually, the transfer date goes in the contract up front.
Below roughly 50 seats the governance overhead usually eats the saving. Between 50 and 150 it works if the work is coherent enough to justify dedicated leadership. Above 150 the economics are almost always favourable if retention holds.
Frequently, and it is one of the arrangements that works best. We agree a written split of responsibilities before starting so nothing lands in the gap between two teams, and we work inside your ticketing system rather than making you adopt ours.
